but changing some habits and replacing some of your products will help. Chemicals surround our everyday lives completely. From the moment we get into the shower we are inhaling and absorbing chemicals into the blood which is then pumped all around the body.

Chemicals such as Parabens are widely used in skincare products to preserve them and have been linked to infertility and birth defects. Used in small quantities Parabens are thought to be safe but with the increase in use of multiple skincare products a day, we can’t really know how they will affect the body.

Both Parabens and Phthalates, a chemical released from plastic products, have been widely outed due to their potential risk to health and fertility. Research shows that these chemicals mimic and disrupt hormones causing infertility. The fact of the matter is we do not know the true effect of these chemicals on the body.
Be realistic about the changes you can make to your products, and remember it can take some couples 2 years to conceive naturally. You should contact your GP if you have questions about your fertility.
